why is raising a teenager so hard? why is it that i choose to make really bad decisions, that they keep want to keep bringing it up....... i have said i am sorry what more can i do... if someone has a problem with you it is their problem.......

To support or not to support?

With all the controversy with Komen foundation and Planned parenthood. I am a supporter of Planned parenthood. They provide women who have little or no income with cancer screening, testing and treatment for STD's and also birth control.  They also provide other services which everyone has their own opinion on.  Being that Planned parenthood doesn't receive federal funds for other services that they perform.Why pull funding away from them? Did you not think that the backlash would happen? Did you think everything would be okie dokie?  Why go back and apologize?  You went back apologized, and started funding again because you were wrong! But the damage was done, there is not taking it back. Every action has a consequence. At some point in all of our lives we have done and said stupid things, and we go back and say we are sorry. People will forgive for what happen but will always remember what was said and done. Just remember you can't please everyone.

So now to vent

Venting now!
 Why do my children feel the need to not do their chores? Is it so hard to put dishes in the dishwasher? When I was a teenager, we didn't even have a dishwasher. According to my oldest that was the stone age. Also, my youngest is apparently waiting for the dog to get opposable thumbs, then he will be able to feed himself! Sigh, is all I can do right now.....
